Why should I book directly through this site rather than through AirBnB or VRBO?
When booking through other platforms, the fees can be as high as 20%+. Using this site, it's a win/win for both of us. The nightly rates are slightly higher to cover credit card transaction fees, but significantly lower overall cost than booking through another platform.
Is your credit card processor safe?
Yes, we use Stripe! This is a very reputable credit card processor that is used by many online retailers. This website is also built by Guesty, which is a very reputable software for short term rental hosts. The credit card that is used for the the first payment will be auto-billed for the second payment 15 days prior to check-in
What is your refund policy?
We understand that things change. If you cancel more than 45 days out, you will get a full refund less credit card processing fees. If you cancel more than 30 days out, you will get a 50% refund. Inside 30 days, please contact us. It does have a significant impact on us if we are unable to rebook the dates.
My dates aren't yet available on the calendar and I want to book a long ways out. What can I do?
We currently have a 9 month booking window. If you are looking to book further out, please contact us via email or phone and we can handle your request directly.
Security Deposit
We will hold a $1,500 security deposit (to the CC on file) for damage protection. This will be charged 14 days before check-in, and returned 7 days after check-out. This is for larger damages to the cabin that rarely occur, not for normal wear and tear.
Confirmation e-mail
Upon booking we will send you a confirmation email. PLEASE check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation email as it has important information and it likely went there. If you are unable to find the confirmation email within 30 minutes of booking, please call or email us. Thanks!
